I've recently been making a series a limited edition giclée prints from black and white illustrations.
The Blessed Art series comprises three works celebrating the themes of harvest and bounty. Combining traditional concepts within a comic narrative, these works are influenced by childhood nostalgia and evoke the linear tone and caricature of old European woodcuts.
There are currently three works in the series: Blessed are the Cheesemakers, March of the Apple Growers and Fruits of our Labour.
If you are interested in purchasing any of these prints, you may contact me direct nivadesign@bigpond.com to pre-order. Each print (unframed) is $125 AUD + shipping. Please also refer to the stock room page.
The editions are produced by a reputable and highly experienced fine art digital printer. A true giclée print is a high quality, digital reproduction of an original work of art, produced to museum archival standards. Each print is carefully printed using high quality fade resistant inks on archival rag paper. Displayed under typical home or office lighting, Giclées made with wide-gamut pigmented inks are estimated to last over 90 years without noticeable fade, exceeding the lifespan of the original work.
Each giclée print is hand signed and editioned.
